Dr. John "Mike" Andersen founded Professional Eyecare in 1972, establishing a practice built on innovation and patient trust. A pioneer in contact lens research, Dr. Andersen has contributed to the advancement of lens technology throughout his distinguished career. His vision and dedication laid the foundation for what has become one of Overland Park's most respected eye care practices. Now retired, he passed the practice to his son, Dr. Austin Andersen, who leads it today.
