The Optos Optomap Daytona captures up to 200 degrees — or about 82% — of your retina in a single, non-invasive image. Traditional fundus cameras see only 30 to 45 degrees at a time, meaning critical peripheral pathology can be missed. With the Daytona's ultra-widefield view, our doctors can detect signs of retinal tears, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and other sight-threatening conditions earlier and more comprehensively. The scan takes less than half a second, requires no dilation in most cases, and produces a high-resolution digital image that your doctor reviews with you on-screen during your visit.
